A Glittering Christmas Story in Roppongi
Tokyo Midtown Christmas is set to turn Roppongi into a magnificent winter wonderland.
With this year’s theme of “The Dreaming Tree,” guests can marvel at an 8.5-meter-tall real fir tree glowing with a dazzling array of shifting golden colors. Then, take a stroll through approximately 340,000 gentle golden lights starting from the garden entrance (running through February 23, 2027).
The Midwinter Lights will display a 4-minute synchronized light and music show featuring mystical snowy forests, Christmas Eve streets, the aurora borealis and a magical floating soap bubble effect (bubble show runs until December 20).
Guests can make their evening extra special at the brand-new, luxurious Midwinter outdoor lounge. Enjoy champagne, original cocktails, light meals and gorgeous parfaits while taking in a panoramic view of the illuminations from an elevated deck. The lounge is open weekdays from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on weekends from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Inside the first floor of the Tokyo Midtown Galleria, a giant picture book and Christmas tree will be on display to match the festivities. Visitors can enjoy a Santa stamp rally throughout the Midtown area. Collect stamps and complete a special postcard.
