This rooftop BBQ at Keio Department Store Shinjuku lets guests bring their own ingredients and drinks.
Visitors can shop the basement food floor for rare cuts of meat, domestic wagyu, seafood and vegetables, along with Japanese, Western and Chinese prepared dishes. Guests then bring their purchases to grill using the provided equipment at the BBQ Garden, with no extra setup required.
After dark, the venue is lit by 42,000 bulbs, letting guests enjoy the beer garden atmosphere surrounded by sparkling illumination and the night skyline of Nishi-Shinjuku’s high-rises. A range of discounted BBQ menu sets can be reserved in advance when booking a visit, including a regular set, a seafood set, a kids’ set and individual items such as chicken thighs with basil sauce and yakisoba, making it easy to enjoy a casual BBQ.
