There is a new outdoor dining experience at Hilton Tokyo Odaiba’s Japanese restaurant, Sakura. Guests can enjoy a premium charcoal-grill pair course on the restaurant’s exclusive terrace, timed perfectly with the grand opening of Odaiba’s newest landmark: the “Tokyo Aqua Symphony” fountain.

A Symphony of Water, Light and Gastronomy

The “Tokyo Aqua Symphony” is one of the world’s largest fountains. It features a massive 250-meter-wide water arch inspired by the “Somei Yoshino” cherry blossom and stunning 150-meter-high water jets, all synchronized with light and sound. From the panoramic vantage point of Sakura’s terrace, guests can enjoy an unobstructed view of the fountain show, the iconic Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower while indulging in a luxurious charcoal-grilled feast.

Culinary Highlights: Premium Ingredients and Authentic Techniques

The course is designed for two people to share, emphasizing high-quality ingredients and interactive dining. Guests can grill premium items themselves using traditional nambu tekki (ironware) grills. The menu includes live spiny lobster, T-bone steak seasoned simply with salt and pepper and dried Rosy Seabass (nodoguro). Enhancing the flavors are three house-made condiments: smoked
cherry-wood soy sauce, a rich Hatcho miso sauce made with oxtail broth and aromatic truffle salt.

The meal also features seasonal clay pot rice with snapper and canola blossoms, in addition to Inaniwa udon served with spring seafood like sakura shrimp and clams, The meal concludes with a playful zenzai style dessert featuring white bean paste with cherry blossom notes, served with mini taiyaki and dumplings for dipping.
