A Festival of Experimental Art and Music

SupernaturalDeluxe is back for its 17th and 18th installations. SupernaturalDeluxe is an experimental music event with art exhibits and live performances. The event will also serve as a grand opening celebration for a new venue space called “Pray,” in Kamogawa, Chiba.

Volume 17 will feature the Swiss avant-garde rock minimalist trip Schnellertollermeier on November 21. The band is a critically acclaimed trio consisting of Andi Schnellmann on bass, Manuel Troller on guitar and David Meier on drums. They are known for their explosive blend of modern composition, minimalist music and improvisation. Together with live performances by Schnellertollermeier, the event will welcome DJ Chris SSG and David Dicembre, and space design by Shinobu Hashimoto.

The event will also have food and drink vendors, including Kei Shokudo and Alright Coffee Roasters.

Tickets cost ¥3,500 for advance bookings and ¥4,000 at the door. Guests under 20 years old can get in for ¥1,500.

Volume 18 will take place across November 28 and November 29. This two-day event will feature live performances from Jim O’Rourke and Eiko Ishibashi, along with sets from DJ Keiji Yamabe and DJ Kayo.
