Entaku, the creative team behind popular guest-participation exhibitions including “The Too-Nice People Exhibition,” will host two new simultaneous exhibitions. Both exhibitions use humor to present everyday emotions and situations that prompt immediate recognition from visitors.
The “Slightly Relatable Exhibition” is built around that precise, hard-to-name feeling of almost understanding something while not quite being sure. This is the second version of the experience, and its contents have been completely renewed for this run with all-new materials.
The “Too Small Exhibition” is organized into five themed sections covering small awkward moments, small moments of sadness, small joys, small acts of generosity and small annoyances. Each picks out minor incidents and passing emotions from daily life that visitors will immediately recognize. Because the subject centers around feelings that are difficult to pin down, much of the appeal lies in realizing that others share them.
Weekday admission is cheaper than weekends and holidays, elementary school children and younger can enter for free, and holders of a disability certificate can receive a discount for themselves and one caregiver.
