A Jazz Vocal Prodigy Praised by Prince
Kandace Springs, the celebrated American jazz and soul singer, will perform a two-night special at Cotton Club featuring her latest album Lady in Satin.
This will mark the vocalist/pianist’s comeback to Cotton Club after about a year and a half. Springs’ achieved a major breakthrough with her debut album Soul Eyes, produced by the renowned Larry Klein. She also received wide praise from Mojo magazine for her “vocals that appeal to all the senses.” Prince described her as an artist whose rich vocals are “capable of even melting snow.”
This performance will feature Springs as part of a female trio with Caylen Bryant on bass and Camille Gainer Jones on drums.
For both performance dates, the first show will open at 17:00 and start at 18:00. The second show will open at 19:45 and start at 20:30.
