A Distinct Track of R&B
Singer-songwriter Himi (stylized as HIMI) will perform a special program at Blue Note Place.
Himi founded his own independent label “Asilis” and composes all of his own material. He expresses a distinct musical vision rooted in R&B and soul. Joined by a lineup of exceptional jazz musicians from his generation, he will give a two-day engagement that pushes toward a new sonic frontier. The performance will feature Himi on guitar and vocals; Hinata Ishii on piano, keyboard and saxophone; Makoto Togashi on bass and Naoki Takahashi on drums.
On March 28, the show will open at 18:00 and start at 19:00. On March 29, the show will open at 17:30 and start at 18:30.
During Himi’s second performance day, Blue Note Place will be celebrating Family Friendly Day on March 29. Guests of all ages are welcome and children under 10 years old may attend at a special rate of ¥1,100. Reservations for this plan are accepted by phone only.
