Celebrate All Things Anime

Anime Japan, one of the biggest annual anime events, will return for a massive two-day pop culture convention at Tokyo Big Sight featuring stage shows, exhibitors, cosplayers and various activities. 

The convention will feature over 120 exhibitors, including Animate, Bandai, Netflix, Tapioca, Marushin and more. Many anime studios and production companies will also be present, including Aniplex, Mappa, Toei Animation and Toho Animation. Anime Japan highlights both classic titles and new anime series. Some of the headlining shows for this year’s event includes Attack on TitanBeastarsBocchi the RockChainsaw Man, Code GeassTrigun and many more.

The stage shows will host a variety of programs, including presentations of the latest anime releases, live performances and talk events. Seats for the AJ Stage require an advance lottery application. Standing areas will be available for the Blue Stage and the White Stage. Guests who wish to visit Anime Japan dressed up in cosplay will need a cosplay registration ticket on top of their overall convention admission ticket. Registration includes access to the changing room and cloak room, and can be completed in the South Hall 3 cosplay area. 

March 30 and March 31 will be reserved as “Business Days” for brand networking, seminars and opportunities such as overseas export. Admission to Anime Japan Business Days is limited to currently active business visitors interested in meeting exhibitors and collecting information for business purposes. Future startups and students will not be permitted entry.
