Enjoy Dinner with Live Jazz
Maihama View Hotel by HULIC will host a special jazz live performance, “Summer Jazz & More,” as part of its ongoing seasonal dinner buffet, “Summer Ocean Table,” at Restaurant Fine Terrace. This will be a limited, three-day-only event to commemorate the Obon period with family and friends.
Guests can enjoy a refined atmosphere with dinner accompanied by live jazz, perfect for a summer evening. The performance will feature Taketo Nagashima on saxophone and Shingo Sato on piano. Nagashima specializes in jazz and pop music, and has performed at several large venues such as one of Japan’s largest theme parks. Nagashima has also participated in a national tour with enka singer Kaori Mizumori. Sato began playing piano at Yamaha Music School during elementary school and graduated from the Yamaha Music Academy Piano Department. He plays a wide range of genres, from pop and jazz to classical. Sato is currently active in various fields including music production and performing as a backing musician for various artists.
This live performance is available at no extra charge for guests using the dinner buffet. The first show will start at 6:30 p.m., with a second show at 7:30 p.m.
The dinner buffet will have a special admission price during the event period. Adults (ages 13 and over) are ¥7,000 yen, and elementary school students (ages 7-12) are ¥3,500. Children who are staying at the hotel can enjoy the buffet for ¥1,000. Preschool children (6 years old and under) are admitted free of charge.
The buffet lineup will feature stamina-boosting dishes that are perfect to relax from the summer heat. The diverse menu includes roast beef and stamina bibimbap, mini eel bowls, loco moco, seafood paella, beef pilaf and more. There will also be a variety of refreshing cold dishes available, such as chilled sudachi soba, lemon marinated shrimp, cold pumpkin soup and smoked salmon with perilla vinaigrette. Desserts include mango shortcake, chocolate mint pound cake and peach jelly.
While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend making a reservation in advance, especially during the holiday period.
