Dip Into a One-Of-a-Kind Performance
Japanese pop duo Dip in the Pool has captivated audiences since the 1980s with their one-of-a-kind sound and aesthetic. As part of their Japan-China tour, “Calling,” the legendary duo brings a special live performance to Blue Note Place.
This electric group was formed in 1983 with composer Tatsuji Kimura and lyricist Masako Koda. They debuted in the UK in 1986, and have since released 10 albums and multiple singles both in Japan and overseas. The duo is currently collaborating with cutting-edge electronic musicians living in London.
Performers include Masako Koda on vocals, Tatsuji Kimura on keyboards, Kazuko Hashimoto on piano, Haruo Kubota on guitar and Daniel Baeder on drums.
