A Night of Jabberloop Jazz
Japanese jazz band Jabberloop is making their return to Blue Note Tokyo for a one-night-only performance.
Performers include Makoto on trumpet, Daisuke on saxophone, Yuki on bass, Melten on piano and keyboard, and Genki Hashimoto on drums.
Formed in Kyoto in 2004, the popular unit has been active worldwide, and will perform at Blue Note Tokyo for the first time in six years. Their 2007 debut album caught the attention of DJ Gilles Peterson and was aired on BBC Radio, sparking international buzz. The track “Shirokuma” from their 2009 album Check This Out!! topped the iTunes Jazz Chart.
