Celebrating 135 Years of Yebisu Beer
In celebration of the impressive 135th anniversary of Yebisu, Sapporo Beer is holding a special exhibition titled, “Yebisu Bijinga Exhibition:Experience with All Five Senses.” This is a returning collaboration with manga artist Hirohiko Araki, most notable for his artwork in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Throughout their history, Yebisu Beer has had iconic advertisements that often center bijinga, paintings of beautiful women. The exhibition reinterprets the classic portraits of past generations into modern illustrations featuring Araki’s signature style. The debut exhibition was held earlier this year with high acclaim. Now the exhibit is back at Yebisu Brewery Tokyo from September 10 to November 30, and at the Kitte Osaka shopping mall’s Sunken Garden for the first time from September 19 to September 28.
Reservations are required for entry to the Osaka venue. Details regarding numbered tickets will be posted on the event website.

Yebisu is also introducing a new limited edition beer called “Golden Odyssey – Golden Adventure,” brewed exclusively at Yebisu Brewery Tokyo.
Hirohiko Araki’s bold artwork will also be available through original merchandise including T-shirts, bags, coasters, bottle openers, postcards and clear files.
