Appreciate the Art of Koto in a New Way
Leading koto player Leo Konno (known as LEO), will be performing at Blue Note Place for a one-night-only event. He will also be accompanied by guest performer U-chann on tabla hand drums.
Leo is a key industry figure in redefining the koto, incorporating both tradition and innovation. His performances have brought the classical Japanese instrument to diverse stages including Blue Note Tokyo and the Summer Sonic music festival. Leo invites audiences to witness the koto’s vibrant evolution into today’s music.
The performance will be split into two parts, about 30 minutes each with a break in the middle. The first half will begin at 19:00 and the second half will begin at 20:00.
