Fievel Is Glauque, a jazz-pop duo consisting of New York-born pianist/keyboardist Zach Phillips and Brussels-born vocalist Ma Clément, is making their Blue Note Tokyo debut. They will be accompanied by Gaspard Sicx on drums, Anatole Damien on bass, Sylvain Haenen on guitar and André Sacalxot on saxophone and flute. Tori Kudo from the Maher Shalal Hash Baz ensemble band will also make a guest appearance.
Fievel Is Glauque’s jazzy yet experimental approach has received worldwide acclaim. Formed in 2018, the duo released their first live recording “God’s Trashmen Sent to Right the Mess” on cassette in 2021, followed by their studio album Flaming Swords in 2022.
