Featuring a Massive Gunpla Giveaway and the Opening of Special Gundam-Themed Hotel Rooms
A joint project between WHG Hotels and the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, which is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, the “Operation Gundam R with WHG Hotels” initiative features a massive Gunpla giveaway and the opening of special Gundam-themed hotel rooms.
The “MG RX-78-2 GUNDAM Ver. 3.0” rooms will be available for a limited time at three WHG Hotels properties: Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel, Hotel Gracery Tamachi and Canal City Fukuoka Washington Hotel. Each hotel will have one twin room featuring an exclusive mural, diorama displays, a specialized desk and a dedicated photograph area. Guests staying at the three hotels will also receive the “Ecopla 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam Assembly Experience Ver.” kit during the campaign period.
As part of the initiative, WHG Hotels are distributing 100,000 “Ecopla” Gunpla experience kits to elementary school students staying at any of the 32 participating hotels: 21 Washington Hotels, eight Hotel Gracery locations and three Hotel Tavinos locations across the country. The giveaway runs from July 15 to August 31.
