As you know, autumn in Tokyo brings with it a variety of inspired menus, most of which make use of seasonal ingredients and are influenced by special occasions such as Halloween. Andaz Tokyo has just announced their upcoming fall food lineup, and we’ve picked out the four offers we’re most looking forward to.
Hokkaido Paella at Andaz Tavern
We’re always looking for an excuse to visit this beautiful restaurant, and tucking into Spanish paella sounds like a perfect one. Their paella will be prepared with seasonal ingredients from Hokkaido, which is famed for its seafood, and will include Hakodate surume squid, Shirogai clam and Wassamu rice. You can choose between the Seafood Paella (¥3,100) which features cod fish, squid, clam and sea snails, or go for the Best of Land and Sea Paella (¥2,500), which includes Abashiri chicken, cod fish, clams and sea snails.

Gin Craze Tales at Rooftop Bar
If you’ve spent some time at Andaz Tokyo’s Rooftop Bar, you’ll already know just how impressive their mixologists, Ryuichi Saito and Akira Abe, are. During September and October, the pair will lead you on a journey through a selection of rare gins while offering experimental ways to enjoy them. Look forward to craft boutique gins from around the world, including those from Finland, Spain, US and UK. Be sure to try their “Sipsmith Sloe Gin” from the UK, garnished with orange and cinnamon, and the “Gin Mare” from Spain, garnished with grapes and basil.

Oktoberfest at BeBu
BeBu’s Executive Sous Chef, Gregor Streun, was born in the Franconia region of Bavaria, Germany, which happens to be the birthplace of the renowned Oktoberfest festival. So of course, he is perfectly qualified to prepare traditional German dishes, which will be served along with a selection of original Munich Oktoberfest beers. Look out for the signature Bavarian burger featuring a grilled pork sausage patty, curry sauce and sauerkraut, served in a laugen bun.
