Prom Night With A Gaming Twist
Video Game Prom is back for its 5th year. Presented by Gameland Tokyo and GameMaker, Video Game Prom will bring game developers, artists, fashion designers, influencers and enthusiasts together for an event filled with dances and laughs. Enjoy an elegant night of live music, playable games, networking and prom-style fun. Guests can enjoy free-flowing food and drinks throughout the night.
This year’s event will showcase 18 indie games on behalf of IGN Japan, Gamersky and KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency) for a true collaboration between Japan, China and Korea to bring everyone together for this ultimate celebration of games and the indie spirit.
Created in 2019, Video Game Prom was born with the mission of bringing prom party culture to Japan’s video game industry members. This year’s theme is “Digital Velvet” and will showcase incredible local music artists barbieBlo0d and DJ Slimey. The party will take place in Robin Club in Omotesando, a stylish venue fit for prom royalty — and guests will vote for who is crowned VGP King and Queen.
