Enter Stationery Heaven

Chofu Parco department store will host the “Chiisana Kamihaku to Bungu Sanpo,” or “Paper Expo and Stationery Stroll.” The event is a pop-up festival of paper and illustrations, where stationery lovers can shop, participate in various workshops and share new creative ideas.

The expo will offer a wide selection of stationery goods from stickers, stamps, masking tape, cards and more. Featured exhibitors include Itoi Yuki, Keibunsha Printing, Tomikohan, Miho Miyauchi and Mokuji.

Various workshops will also be available (weekend only).

Illustrator Yuki Itoi will hold a portrait drawing event, where the artist will draw guests with their favorite stationery items. The illustration will then be made into a keychain. Advance reservations are required to participate in this event. Illustrator Miho Miyauchi will also be making custom portraits. Participants will receive a digital copy of the finished artwork, along with a printed sticker right on the spot. Advance reservations are also required for this event.

The Soror Factory workshop will invite guests to create their own custom cat brooch, using layers of colorful cardstock. The brooch can be put into a transparent case or a display frame. An on-site registration system will be used for this workshop. Guests can decorate Muji notebooks and cards at the Tomikohan stamp workshop. This is a free activity, participants just need to purchase a Muji notebook in order to use the stamps.

The fair’s sub-venue, located in Parco’s first floor event space (next to Cosme Kitchen), will have additional workshops. Guests can make their own saddle-stitched notebooks, go through the wrapping paper buffet and take a chance at the mini stamp gachapon.

There will be a stamp rally where guests can collect stamps at three stationery-related spots across Chofu Parco. Collect all the stamps will receive a special prize from the first floor event space register.
