A Sega Halloween
Joypolis, the large indoor amusement park operated by Sega located inside the Decks Tokyo Beach mall in Odaiba, has a special event to celebrate the Halloween season, featuring special park decorations, a limited-time Halloween version of Sonic, exclusive menu items and themed attractions.
For a limited time, advance-ticket-only bundles for two adults are available at ¥9600 (regularly priced at ¥12,000), and includes admission and unlimited rides for one day.
From October 24 to October 31, visitors who come to the park in costume can receive a ¥500 discount on a regular evening ticket.
Joypolis has a variety of festival seasonal menu items. The Frame Cafe on the 3rd floor will serve a prosciutto and pumpkin salad bagel sandwich, and a pumpkin gelato with rich Belgian chocolate milk. The second floor D-Lounge will have a Halloween parfait featuring purple sweet potato paste. The Dippin’ Dots parlor will also have a limited-time ice cream flavor: with cotton candy, marshmallows and chocolate sauce.
Guests can receive special treats on select attractions. Players who achieve “Elite” rank or higher on the immersive battle attraction Mission Spark, will receive an original Halloween-themed temporary tattoo. Guests who ride the Tik-tuk racing ride Spicy Taxi from October 17 to October 31 will receive a Halloween card featuring the Joypolis mascots.
Sonic fans can catch a rare appearance of Sonic in his special Halloween costume on the 1st Floor in front of the main stage.
