Celebrating Brazilian Culture in Japan

The Festival Brasil & Latino is coming back to Yoyogi Park for its 19th annual celebration featuring music stages, Brazilian food stalls, merchandise booths, a kids’ space and more, showcasing the beautiful cultures from Brazil and Latin America.

The festival is the biggest Brazilian event in Japan, according to organizers. The 2026 event will be held on July 18 and 19, and will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Japan.

The stage will feature a variety of performances, with music from genres such as bossa nova, samba, forró, and sertanejo. Artists scheduled to perform include Kimobig Brasil, Carnavation, Grupo Vem Pagodear, Leo Nakayama and Banda Via Brasil. The show will be hosted by special guests Fumio Almeida and media personality Simone. For a full schedule of performances, please visit the event website.

The food and drink area will feature Brazilian delicacies such as churrasco, feijoada, skewers, and açaí. The festival is a great opportunity to try uniquely Brazilian food in Tokyo.

There will also be several merchandise and exhibitor booths. Beloved Brazilian brands like Havaianas will be present, along with food trucks, the Shibuya Fire Department and a kids’ space. A capoeira area will host dance demonstrations and workshops. Booths like the Immigration Center can provide helpful information for international residents.
