A Party in the Clouds
In celebration of Cinnamoroll’s birthday on March 6, Sanrio will host a special birthday party event in Ikebukuro. The Cinnamoroll Sky Blue Party will take place at the Sunshine 60 Observatory from February 27 to March 31.
The observatory event space, along with its Tembo Park on the 60th floor, will be filled with fun decorations and photo spots where fans can freely enjoy taking photos with Cinnamoroll and his friends. The event is themed around a “birthday party in the clouds” and guests will be greeted with a cloud archway as soon as they enter the space. An activity area will have a giant birthday cake that children can play on. There will be plenty of other activities, including a game where you jump and catch balloons with Chiffon, and rhythm games with Espresso and Mocha. A stamp rally will also be available, where guests can collect stamps of strawberries and balloons around the venue to decorate Cinnamoroll’s cake.
To participate in the event, guests will need a ticket to the observatory. No additional charge is required for this event. Customers who spend ¥1,300 or more at Tenbo Park Cafe will receive one randomly selected original sticker.
Another event, Cinnamoroll Dreamy Bloom, will run simultaneously at Sunshine City’s Alpa shopping mall. The collaboration will feature interior decorations, photo spots, collab merchandise, limited-edition menus and more. Alpa B1 Boulevard will have an installation where guests can step inside Cinnamoroll’s colorful bubble tunnel.
The Sanrio Cafe will serve specialty pancakes, crepes, cinnamon rolls and drinks.
Seven brands inside the shopping mall will create exclusive collaboration products, including Secret Honey, Axes Femme, Maison de Fleur and Samantha Vega. Customers who purchase products worth ¥3,000 or more at participating stores will receive a limited-edition sticker.
For two days only, on February 28 and March, the Alpa Fountain Plaza will host the “Cinnamoroll Dreamy Stage” show with a performance from Cinnamoroll himself. The viewing space for the performance is only available to those who win the advance lottery through the Sanrio+ app. Members must be at a Silver or Gold level to enter the lottery.
