57 Varieties of Beer

In Belgium, Belgian Beer Weekend is an annual event held in September at the Grand Place in Brussels. Inspired by it, Japan also began hosting Belgian Beer Weekend in 2010, attracting over 15,000 people over three days. Now on its 15th year, the festival is now one of Japan’s biggest events with nearly two million visitors.

Enjoy unique beers, delicious Belgian-style fries, live music and a lively community atmosphere. 

Belgian Beer Weekend 2025 will have 57 different varieties of beer available, 18 of which are making their debut. Admission to the Belgian Beer Weekend is free of charge, but to drink and eat at the event, you will need designated a BBW glass & tokens. To avoid waiting in the ticket counter, it’s recommended to purchase the starter set online in advance. The light drink set for ¥2700 (¥2840 on the day) includes one original 2025 BBW glass and 8 tokens, which can be exchanged for various beers and food throughout the event. The starter set for ¥3700 (¥3990 on the day) includes one original 2025 BBW glass and 13 tokens. Extra tokens can be purchased for either at the event. Please note that glasses from previous Belgian Beer Weekend years cannot be used.

Fritkot and Waichi will be serving various snacks and plates to pair with the beer selection, including fries, Belgian meatballs, smoked salmon, fried chicken, roast beef, sausages, liege waffles and jerk chicken. You can see the full menu here.
