Black Country, New Road Returns with Special Guest Ichiko Aoba
English rock band Black Country, New Road (BC,NR), currently touring after releasing their third album Forever Howlong in April, have announced powerful Special Guest Acts for their highly anticipated Japan Tour this December.
The band, who have a strong connection to the Japanese music scene, will welcome two respected Japanese artists:
- Tokyo Performance: Featuring Ichiko Aoba, a globally popular artist celebrated for her delicate, classical guitar-centered sound and poetic, ethereal vocals.
- Osaka and Nagoya Performances: Featuring a duo from betcover!! — Jiro Yanase (Guitar & Vocal) and Hajime Shirase (Key) — known for their passionate and cinematic approach that has earned them a fervent international following.
Since their beginnings in the South London scene, BC,NR has been hailed as “the best band in the world” by The Quietus magazine. Following chart success with their first two albums (For the first time and Ants From Up There), their legendary all-new-song set at Fuji Rock and the 2023 live album Live at Bush Hall, the band continues to evolve.
