Every month, Nerd Nite gathers smart speakers and a curious crowd, then add to it a bar and some mingling. Returning fresh from winter break the March event features two speakers. First, Jan Pack will talk about cancer: how to treat it, how treatments are changing, and how his own research is part of that change. Next, May Kristine Jonson Carlon has been talking to large language models like ChatGPT: she will discuss what she’s learned about the cultural and moral differences between AI and humans, and where AI might be going in the future.

Drinks (both alcoholic and non) and light snacks will be available. Kids are also welcome at Nerd Nite.
