15 Years of Mappa’s Iconic Series
Celebrating the 15th anniversary of Mappa, one of the leading anime studios, a massive exhibition featuring all 23 of the studio’s works will be on display at the Yurakucho Museum.
The exhibit will showcase exclusive production materials, original drawings and interactive installations of Mappa’s renowned series, including Banana Fish, Yuri!!! on Ice, Kakegurui, In This Corner of the World, Ranma 1/2, The Rose of Versailles and more.
The exhibit will also particularly focus on Mappa’s most popular recent releases: Attack on Titan The Final Season, Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc. Individual areas will be dedicated to these titles with extra production materials on display, and life-size figures that recreate some of the series’ most famous scenes and characters. Sculptures include a life-size figure of “Bomb,” a recreation of “The Rumbling” and a life-size Yuji Itadori figure inside an immersive train interior.
The gallery will also offer special exhibition-exclusive merchandise featuring new illustrations.
