Dazzling Lights, Animals and Hello Kitty
Now in its 26th year, the “Tama Center Illumination” is a must-see winter tradition in the community
The 12-meter-tall “Centerland Tree” will stand symbolically at the Parthenon Crossroads as one of the key centerpieces of the event.
With Tama being the home of Hello Kitty, and Sanrio Puroland theme park just a walk away, the “Hello Kitty Balloon Illumination is another highly popular installation.
The venue will also host a 300-meter-long camphor tree illumination that adorns both sides of Parthenon Avenue, an impressive illuminated “aquarium” at the entrance to Tama Center and topiaries of various animals.
An opening ceremony and fantasy show will be held on November 14, starting at 4:00 p.m. The colorful and dazzling illuminations will light up the night sky of Tama Center.
