Hogwarts Takes Over Tokyo Christmas
Experience a magical winter wonderland as the entire Marunouchi district transforms into a festive holiday stage inspired by the world of Harry Potter.
From November 12 to December 25, locations throughout the Otemachi, Marunouchi and Yurakucho areas will be festively decorated with beautifully themed Christmas trees and other installations.
As the centerpiece of the event will be the Hogwarts Snow Tree at Marunouchi Building’s Marucube — complete with a light and snow show held every 15 minutes starting at 5:00 p.m. The Shin-Marunouchi Building will recreate a Gryffindor common room during Christmas. When you take a flash photo of the winter scene around the fireplace with your cellphone, “magical snow” will appear.
Marunouchi Oazo Plaza will transform into Patronus Forest where guardian spirit gently appear amidst the snowscape. Marunouchi Brick Square’s Mitsubishi Ichigokan Plaza will host a Golden Snitch Tree with a Christmas tree illuminated by a trail of glittering light.
A total of nine installations inspired by Harry Potter will be set up for fans to explore. Grab a special set of “Blazing Glasses” and tour the town to collect stamps as you look for each of the special installations. Completing the rally earns you exclusive holiday rewards like Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo cards or promotional card game items.

Fans can also visit the Harry Potter Mahoudokoro pop-up shop on the 3rd floor of the Shin-Marunouchi Building, and check out themed collaboration menus and exclusive merchandise at participating local shops and cafes.
