Revisit the Charms of Osamu Goods
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Osamu Harada’s lifestyle brand Osamu Goods, the Sogo Museum of Art in Yokohama will host a special exhibition that will explore the charm, history and design philosophy of the beloved series.
The Osamu Goods series was created in 1976 by illustrator Osamu Harada, who drew inspiration from Mother Goose traditional British nursery rhymes and American magazines. The nostalgic illustrations have been loved across generations, and established the early basis for “kawaii” design with bright and carefree expressions.

The exhibition will showcase a wide collection of Osamu Goods products and artwork highlighting the many charms that have made the series loved by so many. The Sogo Museum will exhibit it throughout the month of August.
