The Beauty and History of Machu Picchu

This Machu Picchu Exhibition, which is officially recognized by the Peruvian government, will display approximately 130 precious cultural artifacts on loan from the Larco Museum, the world-renowned archaeological museum in Lima.

Visitors can get an up-close experience of the art and culture from ancient Andean civilization through ancient artifacts, including golden ornaments excavated from royal tombs and ritual implements used in temple ceremonies — some of which are being exhibited in Japan for the first time.

The exhibition was held for the first time in 2021 at the Boca Raton Museum of Art in the United States. Since then it’s been held around the world, receiving high praise and attracting over 540,000 total visitors. The Machu Picchu exhibition will now make its Asia debut here in Japan.
