Team Mix Up misc., an immersive theater group, will perform Bumpodo presents Tying Knots: Exploring Kinbaku through Japanese Literature from February 2 to February 4, 2024, at Bumpodo Gallery in Jimbocho, Tokyo. Team Mix Up misc. collaborates with various artists in a series of immersive theater performances to explore the chemistry between various art forms and Japanese literature. Their inaugural show is centered around kinbaku, also known as shibari.
Featuring kinbaku (Japanese bondage) artist Daria Yoshii, the performance will blend the traditional Japanese art form with a theatrical reading of Shunkinsho, a novel by the renowned Japanese author Junichiro Tanizaki. The performance is in Japanese, but there will be a synopsis printed out in English for those who need one.

- February 4 (Sun.) at 3 pm, followed by an afterparty
Things to Note
- Limited to 30 seats for each performance
- You will be asked to stand during the performance, so please wear comfortable footwear.
- Drinks will be available after the performance.
