After graduating from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 2015, Mori relocated to New York and has performed at major New York jazz clubs including Smalls and Minton’s Playhouse. His third album, Prana, received critical acclaim from DownBeat magazine. Hot House Jazz, a renowned New York jazz guide, featured him as one of the promising artists bridging the New York and Japanese jazz scenes.

The performance’s featured pianist Esteban Castro won the Montreux Jazz Piano Competition at age 13 and attended the Juilliard School on a full scholarship. Featured bassist Bar Filipowicz graduated from The New School and has performed with Takuya Kuroda and Billy Hart. Guitarist Mei Inoue will also be joining the band as a guest.
