Celebrate Mardi Gras and New Orleans Jazz at Blue Note Place
The Mardi Gras celebration of New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz, will return to Blue Note Place.
Rolling piano master Yancy welcomes soulful vocalists Olivia Burrell and Kei Owada, delivering an authentic New Orleans sound straight from the source. Olivia Burrell will be performing on February 17, and Kei Owada will be featured on February 18.
One of the many colorful traditions of New Orleans’ Mardi Gras is the distribution of beaded necklaces. Purple, yellow and green necklaces are thrown from parade floats to the spectators along the road, trying to collect as many as possible. During the Mardi Gras in Ebisu event, in cooperation with the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau, Blue Note Place will be giving away beaded necklaces for an authentic Mardi Gras experience.
