A Legendary Musical Debut
Keiichiro Shibuya will make his Blue Note Tokyo debut, joining forces with visionary collaborators for a one-night-only special session.
Shibuya founded the music label “ATAK” in 2002 and currently operates internationally from his bases in Tokyo and Paris.
Known as a musician who continually explores the intersections of technology and humanity, Shibuya will present a unique program featuring originals, select cover arrangements and a duo rendition of his award-winning film score “Midnight Swan” score with Kikuchi. The lineup also features first-time collaborators Naruyoshi Kikuchi on saxophone, Ren Yamamoto on bass and Masanao Matsushita on drums. These artists are leading figures across Japan’s contemporary music scene.
Blending structured compositions with free-form improvisation, this exclusive year-end performance highlights Shibuya’s wide-ranging artistry — from electronic music and opera to film and sound installations.
