Tokyo Through Various Eyes
The street photography platform Tokyo Streets (stylized as TOKYO STREETS) will present its first exhibition at Hibiya Okuroji, located just a short walk from Ginza.
Running from September 2 to September 7, the gallery will showcase work from over 30 photographers, celebrating diverse perspectives on street photography. The exhibition is curated by Adam Benedicto and focuses on street and documentary photography styles that capture the energy, nuance, and character of Tokyo, alongside international locations.
Tokyo Streets will highlight the myriad of different personal views of Tokyo, and Japan in general, through the eyes and lenses of local and international artists.
Featured artists include So Mukai, Jason Garcia, Trio Prayogi, Audrey Cdr, Rico Suhr, Eiji Paul and Casey Matsumoto among others.
A ticketed photowalk event will run on September 5 starting at 20:00, hosted by the participating photographers who will be introducing the gallery.
There will be a reception party on September 6 from 18:00 to 22:00 with drinks and guest DJs.
