Rhino and Bird Bouldering Gym

Rhino and Bird is a bouldering gym located in Nishi Nippori. The venue features two floors of walls. The ground floor contains the biggest and most difficult walls, and upstairs there is a smaller set for beginners. The beginner’s space may be the best place to warm up before heading downstairs to scale the tough walls.

Rhino and Bird is open 7 days a week, 2pm-11pm weekdays and 10am-9pm weekends. A one-time registration fee costs ¥1,500, and sessions are between ¥1,500-¥2,000 plus tax depending on day and time. Other than that, for your first session, just bring some gym clothes – a T shirt, shorts and socks will do. Rhino and Bird provide shoes and chalk for your hands to help with grip.
