Celebrate Christmas at the Over 100-Year-Old Warehouse
The Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse will host its 17th annual Christmas market from November 20 to December 25 with grand decorations, Christmas goods, gourmet food, greetings with Santa Claus and a luxurious premium lounge.
The centerpiece of the venue will be the Christmas tree, a 11-meter-tall real Japanese red spruce tree adorned with 20,000 LEDs, featuring special light shows every 15 minutes.
The ever-popular “Premium Lounge” offers guests completely private rooms, available again this year in a limited number of only five units . Enjoy a relaxing Christmas moment with your loved one in a prime location overlooking the Christmas tree and Yokohama Port, while savoring a special menu exclusive to the lounge .
The Premium Lounge meal features a luxurious selection of appetizers from “Café & Rotisserie La Cocorico,” a popular Italian restaurant located in the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. The main courses include their signature “Satsuma Herb Yuzen Chicken Rotisserie” and “Ibaraki Prefecture Brand Pork Grill,” along with truffle-infused roast beef, veal pâté, and the Italian classic, penne pomodoro. All dishes are made with carefully selected fresh vegetables from Kanagawa Prefecture and prepared with care. For dessert, a soft and fluffy soufflé cheesecake is included.
The main market venue will have 60 food, beverage and merchandise booths.
Featured shops will be selling a variety of goods, including German schnitzel, mulled wine, stew, waffles, melted cheese, churros, gratin and more. Kirin’s Afternoon Tea will serve specialty versions of their drink, a merry white milk tea and the new holiday “pistachio & berry” milk tea. Other menu highlights include Santa’s Christmas roast beef tree, Hokkaido beef stew, Christmas meatballs and fresh churros. Over 20 booths will be serving trendy “White Glühwein” (white mulled wine) in exclusive event-original mugs.
