Japan’s Largest Toy Trade Fair is Back
The 64th Tokyo Toy Show will be held at Tokyo Big Sight convention center from August 27 to August 30. This is Japan’s biggest toy trade fair, with over 70,000 attendees last year over the four-day event.
The toy market is booming, exceeding one trillion yen for the first time in fiscal year 2023. The Japan Toy Association, the group comprised of 191 domestic toy manufacturers and organizations, will exhibit approximately 190 companies and over 35,000 of the latest toys at the event, including products that won the “Japan Toy Awards 2026.”

The event will be divided into two parts. August 27th and 28th will be designated as business days, with exhibitors and product displays from various manufacturers and opportunities for business negotiations and media coverage. Various seminars will also be held for researchers and job seekers interested in the toy industry.
The following exhibition dates on August 29th and 30th will be public days, where anyone can participate and view the latest in toy technology and innovation. Visitors can see various displays and live performances. For a full overview of exhibitors and activities, please visit the official event website.
Tickets for high school students and older start at ¥2200 for same-day tickets, or ¥2000 for advance tickets. Combo 2-day tickets are also available, which allow entry for both public days. Admission is free for junior high school students and younger.
