A Spa Day with Pokémon
Public bath chain Raku Spa will collaborate with Pokémon for a limited-time collaboration event featuring the highly popular “Pokémon Pokopia” (“Poko a Pokémon” in Japanese) video game at 39 different spa locations.
The special event will feature five types of Pokémon-inspired baths:
- A Pikachu, Peakychu and Ditto bath (May 28 – May 30)
- A Smeargle, Tangrowth and Ditto bath (May 31 – June 2)
- A Snorlax and Ditto bath (June 6 – June 8)
- A Charizard, Lucario and Ditto bath (June 11 – June 13)
- A Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur and Ditto bath (June 14 – June 16)
Visitors can upgrade their ticket to a “Relaxing Life Plus” set that includes admission into Raku Spa and an exclusive towel. The towels will offer five different designs featuring characters from the game, and will be distributed at random.
Raku Spa will also have more exclusive merchandise for sale online and in participating stores. Merchandise includes drawstring bags, Snorlax and Ditto bath sponges, fans and a bathing bucket.
The spa’s cafe menu will feature event-exclusive items such as Charizard’s orange and berry juice, Lucario’s blue lemon squash, Pikachu and Peakychu’s omurice, Snorlax’s potato salad fried chicken burger and more. Guests who order food and drinks from the collab menu will receive a random holographic sticker or coaster, respectively.
