For two nights only, the tea shop Matsubaya Saryo will host an intimate collaboration with Clase Azul, offering a different perspective on tequila. The pairing event will be held on January 23 and January 30.
Matsubaya Saryo is known for its high-quality tea and traditional Japanese sweets, served in a serene space filled with bonsai, antiques and artworks. The setting provides a natural backdrop for an evening focused on detail, balance and craft.
Meanwhile, Clase Azul is renowned for its meticulous approach and the high quality of its product, exemplified in its iconic hand-crafted ceramic decanters.
At this event, guests can enjoy a rare pairing course combining fine Mexican liquor with Japanese tea and sweets. The course will feature three tequila pairings served alongside sweets from Matsubaya Saryo’s in-house brand, OKASHIYA, and will culminate with usucha (thin tea) prepared by a tea master.
