Get the Real Maid-Sama Cafe Experience
A pop-up collaboration cafe themed around the popular manga and anime Kaichou wa Maid Sama will open in Tokyo and Osaka.
The Tokyo pop-up will be open in two periods, from March 19 to April 21 and from April 22 to May 24, at My Charaful Cafe/Hakusensha Cafe. Reservations can be made via the “Collab Cafe Tokyo” app or website. Reservations must be made per attendee. Guests will be required to show reservation confirmation and photo ID, and will receive an exclusive postcard.
The menu is inspired by characters and story moments from the Maid-Sama series. Some menu items will change for each period of the pop-up cafe. Food and drinks for the first period include a fairytale garden salad, an onigiri set, a hamburger steak plate, cherry blossom-flavored cream puffs and a ramen inspired by the noodles Misaki and Takumi ate in the festival “love trial.” Drink options include Misaki’s cherry fruit soda, Takumi’s iced lemon tea, Honoka’s mint chocolate drink and “maid lattes” with 7 possible character illustrations.
The menu for the second period includes a hamburger steak cutlet curry lunch set, Takumi’s yakimochi gratin, Aoi’s curly pasta soup, a rabbit apple tea parfait and a hot spring steamed bun set. Some exclusive drinks include Manager Satsuki’s apple juice, a kiwi yogurt drink and an orange yogurt drink. A fruit sandwich set is also available for takeout. The set comes in an original illustration box and is limited to one order per person.
Guests can receive a random original coaster with every menu order. Guests who spend ¥4400 or more will receive a random original bookmark.
The cafe will also have a variety of merchandise for sale, such as acrylic stands, coasters, trading cards, playing cards and stationery.
The cafe will also come to Osaka from June 17 to August 23.
