Justin Bieber’s new brand, Skylrk, just wrapped up its hugely successful pop-up store in Tokyo, welcomed by an overwhelming queue of adoring fans that was reportedly about 2 kilometers long. Opening its doors for four days only, the Harajuku pop-up launched — among other merchandise — the brand’s first-ever 3D-printed sneaker, named the “Earth Bender.”
Here’s a closer look at the debut event and the future of Skylrk footwear.

Skylrk’s Rapid Ascent and Tokyo Debut
Launched by Justin Bieber and designer Neima Khalia this July after years of building anticipation, Skylrk has featured cozy, comfort-driven silhouettes, bold colors and patterns, and a focus on footwear so far. Positioned as a departure from Bieber’s previous brand Drew House, the brand is the singer’s first independent foray into the streetwear landscape.
“I would love to say Skylrk is a result of all our hard work and intentionality,” Bieber wrote in an Instagram post. “But if I’m honest, I think this company is just a reflection of my intimate relationships… People love to separate work life and love life. I believe there’s one life, and it’s a love life.”
Closing out its debut year, Skylrk set up shop in the heart of Harajuku for a limited run (December 4–7). The space evoked the brand’s relaxed ethos, with furniture and installation elements crafted entirely by the in-house team. The storefront housed the core collection, but the big draw was a selection of limited-edition, Japan-exclusive releases.
For locals, the event was met with enthusiasm; fans took to social media to share clips from the pop-up, and some posted videos boasting their hauls from the drop, many featuring over ¥100,000 worth of hoodies and shoes.

Earth Bender: The Next-Gen Silhouette
Most notably, the Tokyo pop-up introduced the Earth Bender shoe. The Earth Bender is the brand’s first 3D-printed silhouette — a soccer-influenced sneaker look with an overturned tongue. It was created in collaboration with Zellerfeld, the company behind a full-stack 3D-printing platform utilized by a string of other brands like Nike. The Earth Bender debuted in a vibrant Lilac colorway, and an Oat colorway was also on display for try-ons.
The move builds on Bieber’s history with the technology — he’s previously been spotted wearing Zellerfeld’s fully recyclable Nami sneaker.

Skylrk Tokyo Pop-Up Collection Details
Beyond the 3D shoe, the temporary Tokyo store offered a variety of apparel and accessories, such as the Rest Slipper developed with Hailey Bieber, with one of its shades aptly named “Hailey Gray.” The popular Beach Slides were also on display, in a full spectrum of colors, including “Forest,” “Cosmo,” “Gum,” “Seal” and “Cave.”
For apparel, signature Zip Hoodies were available in both “Heat Camo” and “Earth Camo,” and the Reverse Hoodies and sweats in the muted “Tokyo” and “Slate” colorways. Visitors could also spot denim, and classic accessories like the brand’s beanies, sunglasses and phone cases.
