The Music of Undertale On a Grand Stage
A first of its kind concert tour will feature the music from the game “Undertale,” played on three grand pianos.
The tour will kick off in Aichi in September and conclude in Kyoto in October, visiting eight locations nationwide in between. The concert will stop in Tokyo at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall. The program will feature iconic scores, including the “Once Upon a Time” overture, “Toriel of the Ruins,” “Skeleton,” “Sound of Memory,” “A Magnificent Rhapsody” and more. The concert will be directed by Kazuya Yamamoto, who has been involved in numerous live concerts and in-game music productions. The show’s arrangements will be made by Akira Shoji, who has arranged music for other gaming concerts including for “Persona” and “Suikoden.”
The tour is scheduled to run:
- September 14: Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater Concert Hall
- September 15: Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall
- September 21: Acros Fukuoka Symphony Hall
- September 24: Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall, Main Hall
- September 27: Hiroshima Bunka Gakuen HBG Hall
- October 3: Toho Minna no Bunka Center (Fukushima Prefectural Cultural Center)
- October 4: Oshu City Cultural Hall Z Hall Main Hall
- October 17: ROHM Theatre Kyoto Main Hall
- October 18: ROHM Theatre Kyoto Main Hall
Premium SS-tier seats will include special benefits such as mini acrylic blocks with the concert’s key artwork and a dated souvenir ticket. General tickets will be available from August 22.
