Fireworks by the Sea

Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise amusement park will have a special fireworks spectacle with music, lights and various areas to enjoy the show with food.

Sea Paradise is an island park that consists of aquariums, restaurants, a shopping mall, hotel and amusement rides. The park has a “pay-as-you-go” system for its activities, so guests are free to enjoy the island without a ticket. With plenty of attractions, and barbecue and picnic areas with a seaside view, the park is a popular destination for a little summer getaway.

The Fireworks Symphony show will open with over 2,500 fireworks illuminating the night sky in just the first 10 minutes. The fireworks will be accompanied by music for a captivating display. The show will run throughout the summer, and extending into March 2027. The show is currently scheduled for:

From now until September, the show will begin at 8:30 p.m. From October, the show will begin at 8 p.m. For schedule updates, please check the official website. Guests are free to enjoy the show from various viewing areas around the boardwalk. Sea Paradise also offers several paid seating venues. 

The Paradise Cruise (¥4000) will take guests into the sea for a premium viewing experience. The cruise will run from 8-8:50 p.m. until September, and from 7:30-8:20 p.m. from October onwards.

Guests can also opt to enjoy the fireworks from the Sea Paradise Tower (¥4000). Approximately 80 meter above ground, guests can experience an aerial view of the show from the floating gondolas. The ride will operate from 8:05-8:50 p.m. until September and from 7:35-8:20 p.m. from October onwards.

There are plenty of options to enjoy the fireworks as a fun “dinner and a show” package. The Meringue terrace will serve a special Hawaiian-themed menu designed for the Fireworks Symphony. The package ranges from ¥11,000 to ¥12,000 per person with a maximum of four people per table. The menu includes BBQ chicken, assorted onion rings and french fries, Hawaiian pancakes and a select main dish.

Seafood & Grill Yakiya barbecue restaurant will offer an all-you-can-eat special (¥5200 for adults) where guests can grill outside. A package that includes all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink is also available (¥9200). La Tarafuku will serve a buffet (¥3000 for adults) of Western-style dishes with a fireworks view from the terrace. Mangiare will offer Italian cuisine with terrace sofas and chairs for guests to leisurely enjoy the show overlooking the sea. The Mangiare package starts at ¥3000 per table.
