Dine in a Galaxy Far, Far Away

Celebrating the release of the film Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, Box Cafe & Space at Shibuya 109 will collaborate with Star Wars for a fun themed cafe experience inspired by the galactic saga.

The Mandalorian and Grogu is the latest theatrical release for the Star Wars franchise, continuing the story of popular characters introduced in The Mandalorian television series. The show follows solitary bounty hunter Din Djarin and the force-sensitive orphaned baby Grogu. The film premiered simultaneously in the US and Japan on May 22.

The Galactic Cafe menu takes inspiration from The Mandalorian and Grogu but also other Star Wars titles like the original trilogy and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Food options include Mandalorian burgers, Grogu’s stew, Darth Vader’s curry and a fried dish designed to look like Grogu’s favorite Sorgan frogs. There are also specialty drinks like Grogu’s milk tea, Luke Skywalker’s melon soda, Ahsoka Tano’s white water drink and the Rogue One stardust soda. Guests can finish off with a dessert like Grogu’s milk pudding and blue macaron or R2-D2’s mini ramune parfait.

Guests who order both a food/dessert and a drink will receive one random coaster. Fans can also purchase souvenir mugs, plates and coasters with their food and drinks. For guests that make an advanced reservation, they will receive a random button badge.

The cafe’s gift shop will offer more original goods, including acrylic keychains, stickers, drawstring bags, handkerchiefs and tote bags.
