Four-time Grammy-nominated Singer’s Blue Note Tokyo Debut
Emily King, a singer-songwriter from New York, will make her long-awaited debut at Blue Note Tokyo.
King was born into a musical family, as the daughter of jazz singer Marion Cowings and vocalist Kim Kalesti, she already began performing on the New York live scene in her teens and made her debut in 2007 with the album East Side Story. Centered around her guitar-driven style, her music blends influences from hip-hop, soul, and other strands of Black music. Paired with her silky smooth jazz vocals, King has captivated fans around the world.
