Enjoy an Elegant and Floral Afternoon Tea

Shinjuku Prince Hotel will offer a “Lavender Sweet Afternoon Tea,” an elegant experience to welcome in the early summer season with flowers and seasonal colors, at its Japanese-style dining and bar Fuga for a limited time.

This afternoon tea is themed around lavender as its centerpiece, along with roses and violets.

The experience will start with a lavender butterfly pea tea as a welcome drink, followed by a lavender tiramisu. The tiramisu features a lavender-scented mascarpone cheese layered with blueberries. It perfectly balances rich flavor with the lightness of floral notes. The 3-tier stand will serve a variety of both sweet and savory bites, including a rose-scented cassis tart, lavender cream and blueberry macarons, pan-seared sea bream and grapefruit with beurre blanc sauce, earl grey scones and more.

Each petit fours is carefully prepared by a patissier, and is characterized not only by its flavor, but also by its aroma and colorful appearance. The service will also include a free flow of drinks, including 9 varieties of Mighty Leaf Selection teas, iced tea and coffee.

Japanese-style dining & bar Fuga is located on the 25th floor of Shinjuku Prince Hotel, offering a scenic view of the east side of Shinjuku and the Kabukicho area.
