Warm Up With Holiday Treats
Tokyo Skytree Town’s 10th annual Christmas market will be themed around “A Christmas Market in a Picture Book,” with a fairytale-like atmosphere. Held at the Sky Arena on the fourth floor of Tokyo Skytree Town, the Christmas market will feature food, drinks, fun photo spots and a giant stollen cutting ceremony from November 6 to December 25.

On the market’s opening day, Santa Claus will appear at a giant stollen cutting ceremony. Stollen is a traditional rich German fruit and nut loaf. The event’s stollen will be one of the biggest in Japan, measuring an astounding four meters in length and 750 kilograms in weight. It will be carefully baked by artisans, and big enough for approximately 2,000 servings.
Other menu items include basil and black pepper sausage, Frankfurt sausage, chorizo, roast chicken, roast beef, pretzels, churros, lobster bisque, cheese fondue, beer, hot chocolate and more.
