En Vogue, one of the most successful female groups of all time, has reunited just in time for their 20th anniversary. After over ten tumultuous years, during which time several members came and went, the four original members of the popular R&B group are back together and on tour…including a stop in Tokyo.

Known as much for their good looks as for their powerful yet soulful voices, En Vogue rose to fame in the early nineties with songs like Hold On, Free Your Mind, and Giving Him Something He Can Feel. The quartet has sold over 20 million albums, been nominated for seven Grammies, and won seven MTV Video Music Awards—more than any other female group in history. The original four members—Terry Ellis, Dawn Robinson, Maxine Jones and Cindy Herron—reunited once before (in 2005), but didn’t quite make it as far as recording an album—or even a full-fledged tour, for that matter. Fans of the group will be happy to know that things seem to be going better the second time around, with rumors of a 20th anniversary album in the works, and a global tour already underway.

En Vogue’s Tokyo performances will take place at Billboard Live in Tokyo Midtown on June 29–30 and July 1 (two shows per night). Tickets are ¥7,500 and ¥9,500.
