The Matsuoka Museum of Art will host an exhibition themed around landscape and scenery.
The exhibit presents 19th-century paintings from Britain and France, with works spanning from Benjamin Williams Leader’s “A Quiet Afternoon in North Wales,” depicting Britain’s natural scenery — to a young Claude Monet’s “The Cliff at Sainte-Adresse” and Eugene Boudin’s “The Sea, the Pilot” from the French Impressionists, with around 35 other works on view.
The exhibition features works that depict idyllic landscapes in incredibly realistic detail, each capturing the atmosphere and light in a different way.
