Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba invites hotel guests to an exclusive winemaker dinner on August 30, featuring locally raised Nanatani duck and carefully selected wines from the celebrated Tamba Wine estate.

Now in its fifth edition, this special “Producer Series” event brings together farmer Takashi Kato, who raises famous Nanatani ducks in Kameoka, Kyoto; Chef Takuya Matsumoto of the acclaimed Kobe restaurant Aspirant; and Chef Shunsuke Kido of du Tamba, Tamba Wine’s in-house restaurant. Guests will enjoy a full-course dinner spotlighting Nanatani duck, raised free-range in the serene natural surroundings of Kameoka, known for its rich umami and delicate fat.

Each course will be paired with five wines, including the standout Kyoto Tamba Pinot Noir 2021 — a rare and subtly expressive variety cultivated locally. Non-alcoholic pairings are also available.

This experience is limited to 20 guests and is available exclusively to those staying at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba on the night of the event.
Participation costs ¥25,000 per person (tax included), or ¥23,000 for the non-alcoholic pairing option.
